A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its team. This position is ideal for an attorney with 3+ years of experience handling complex insurance coverage matters who enjoys sophisticated legal work, client interaction, and managing cases from initial analysis through resolution. The attorney will work remotely while collaborating with attorneys and clients on a variety of insurance-related disputes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance coverage matters, including litigation, disputes, and coverage-related issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, case law, contracts, and insurance policies
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other case proceedings
• Handle discovery, court filings, document review, and other activities throughout the litigation process

Job Requirements:

• Active admission to practice law in New Mexico; additional state bar admissions are a plus
• At least 3 years of experience handling insurance coverage litigation or closely related matters
• Strong academic background with excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a remote environment
• Professional judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and time-critical matters
