Employee Benefits Renewals Manager

A growing, leading employee benefits firm is seeking an Employee Benefits Renewals Manager to oversee and streamline our end-to-end renewals process. This role manages a dedicated renewals team of two employees (with plans for continued team growth) and handles a 1,500-group book of business.

The position is based on-site in our office, with potential flexibility for a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) after successful completion of training and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of two renewals specialists to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high performance.
• Process Management: Oversee the entire employee benefits renewal lifecycle from start to finish.
• Broker & Carrier Collaboration: Work closely with brokers to manage rate changes, compensation adjustments, and ensure fully implemented plans.
• Internal Coordination: Partner directly with the internal Enrollment Team to ensure a seamless transition and onboarding experience for groups.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in employee benefits account management or renewals.
• Leadership Skills: Previous people management experience is highly ideal. We are also open to Senior Employee Benefits Account Managers looking to take the next step in their career.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of group benefits, rate structures, and renewal workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Performance Bonus: Eligible for performance-based incentives.
