We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established Casino/Gaming company in Vegas (the position requires residency in Las Vegas, NV)!

Accounting Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous experience serving as a technical lead, project lead, senior accountant, or similar role
• Ability to coordinate work activities and prioritize assignments
• Able to provide guidance and coaching to accounting staff
• Ability to maintain a collaborative and cohesive culture
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytic, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Genuine care for helping others
• Great communicator, written and verbal
• Genuinely positive person who works with integrity

Accounting Manager Preferred Skills & Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Construction Management
• Technology experience with Sage/ Timberline and Workday software
• Previous experience with construction accounting, project accounting, or capital expenditure accounting

Accounting Manager Core Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities while prioritizing workload
• Provide technical accounting guidance to team
• Review accounting transactions
• Assist with resolving complex accounting issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
• Support department's accounting activities
• Facilitate accurate financial reporting and assist with month-end close
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
