Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in construction project management with ground-up commercial or multifamily projects
• Experience working as a general contractor or owner-builder is required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Strong experience with budgets, procurement, scheduling, and project documentation
• Ability to manage client communication, subcontractors, and internal teams

Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive mindset
• Experience managing multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously
• Background in tenant improvement or historic renovation work is a plus
• Deep knowledge of construction schedules, city permitting, and cost control

Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, owners, and city officials
• Write and execute scopes, contracts, change orders, and risk documentation
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely procurement of materials
• Lead meetings, track RFIs and submittals, and resolve jobsite issues in real time
