Senior Project Manager
Location: Orlando, FL
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large commercial, institutional, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction projects. This role will manage multiple projects and project teams while ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
The ideal candidate is a proven electrical construction leader with strong financial, operational, client-management, and team-development experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Project Managers across multiple electrical construction projects.
- Manage all project phases, including planning, procurement, scheduling, execution, closeout, and client handoff.
- Oversee project financials, including budgets, labor, materials, forecasting, cost controls, billings, and profitability.
- Monitor project schedules, field progress, productivity, material needs, and subcontractor performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, vendors, field leadership, and internal teams.
- Manage change orders from identification and pricing through submission, approval, and implementation.
- Ensure complete and accurate project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, schedules, financial reports, and closeout materials.
- Partner with field leadership to maintain jobsite safety, quality standards, and compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Provide mentorship, direction, and technical support to Project Managers and project teams.
- Collaborate with estimating, purchasing, accounting, operations, and field personnel to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical construction project-management experience.
- Experience leading Project Managers and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, lighting, power distribution, and commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated success delivering quality projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, job costing, procurement, billing, and change-order management.
- Basic estimating experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- OSHA certification is preferred.
- Experience with Accubid estimating software and Timberline job-costing software is preferred.
