Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor managers and hourly team members to create a positive, high-performing culture
• Deliver outstanding guest service and build lasting relationships that drive repeat business
• Champion the restaurant's brand within the local community through networking and marketing initiatives
• Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure exceptional quality, service, and consistency
• Manage food, beverage, labor, and operating costs while achieving sales and profitability goals
• Analyze financial performance and make operational decisions that improve results
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Recruit, train, and develop future leaders within the organization

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a full-service or independent restaurant
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage, and guest service
• Proven ability to manage restaurant financials, including labor, food cost, and P&L performance
• Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Current ServSafe and TIPS certifications (or ability to obtain)
