Chef Manager – Family-Friendly Restaurant

Lead the Kitchen. Inspire the Team. Serve the Community.

Are you a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a family-oriented restaurant environment? Do you enjoy mentoring your team, creating exceptional scratch-made food, and being part of the special moments that bring people together?

We're looking for a Chef Manager to lead the culinary team at our well-established, family-friendly casual restaurant. We've built our reputation on outstanding food, genuine hospitality, and strong relationships with our guests and employees. Our scratch kitchen serves restaurant guests daily while supporting a thriving catering business that includes weddings, bridal and baby showers, funeral receptions, corporate events, holiday parties, and other special occasions.

This is an opportunity to join a restaurant where people are valued, work-life balance matters, and leadership is built on respect—not micromanagement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop an engaged back-of-house team
  • Oversee all daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Execute restaurant service and catered events with excellence
  • Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and ordering to meet financial goals
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Collaborate on menu features, seasonal specials, and culinary innovation
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive, team-first culture

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading a high-volume scratch kitchen
  • Catering and banquet experience, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and community gatherings
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing others
  • Financial acumen with experience managing food and labor costs
  • Excellent organization and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A servant-leader mindset with a commitment to hospitality and teamwork

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Family-friendly, established restaurant with an outstanding reputation
  • Scratch-made food and a loyal guest following
  • Diverse culinary responsibilities between restaurant service and catering
  • Supportive ownership that values its people
  • Healthy work-life balance
  • Long-term career growth with a stable, respected organization

If you're ready to lead a talented kitchen team, create memorable dining experiences, and become part of a restaurant that truly values its employees and guests, we'd love to hear from you.
