We're seeking an Assistant General Manager & Wine Director to help lead an elevated luxury hospitality operation in the Auburn, AL region. Assistant General Manager & Wine Director Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations, service execution, staffing, and guest experience within a luxury fine dining environment
  • Lead floor operations and ensure elevated hospitality standards are consistently delivered
  • Oversee wine and beverage programming, including wine list development, pairings, inventory management, and staff education
  • Create memorable guest experiences through wine dinners, tastings, and beverage-focused events
  • Mentor and develop hospitality professionals through hands-on training, coaching, and experiential learning opportunities
  • Partner with culinary and operational leadership to enhance service standards, guest satisfaction, and overall performance
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and beverage profitability initiatives

Assistant General Manager & Wine Director Requirements:

  • 5+ years of fine dining experience with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Certified Sommelier certification or equivalent advanced wine knowledge required
  • Experience managing wine programs, beverage operations, inventory, and team education
  • Background in luxury hospitality, Forbes, AAA Five Diamond, Michelin, James Beard, or other elevated dining environments preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and relationship-building skills with the ability to create memorable guest experiences
