We're seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Project Manager to partner with our Construction Manager in delivering complex industrial construction projects and exceptional results for our clients. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee multiple construction crews and subcontractors, build strong client relationships, and keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll communicate with customers and senior leadership, solve challenges as they arise, and ensure every project is executed with excellence. Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
• Demonstrated success managing construction projects from start to finish
• Strong experience coordinating subcontractors, field personnel, and project schedules
• Ability to develop and manage project budgets and timelines
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of fabrication or industrial construction processes
• Willingness to travel and remain onsite throughout project durations
Must Haves:
• Lead multiple active construction projects while balancing priorities and deadlines
• Coordinate crews of 5 to 50+ employees and subcontractors
• Build strong working relationships with customers and project stakeholders
• Prepare weekly project updates for executive leadership
• Track labor hours, schedules, budgets, and project milestones
• Ensure all subcontractors meet safety, certification, and quality expectations
• Proactively identify risks and implement solutions before they impact project delivery
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Manage projects from pre-construction planning through final completion
• Partner closely with the Construction Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Direct subcontractor activities and monitor overall project performance
• Review project progress and communicate status updates to senior leadership
• Maintain detailed project documentation, labor records, and field reporting
• Promote a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
• PMP Certification
• Experience with Microsoft Project
• Experience using construction management software platforms
• AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor experience
• Background in industrial construction, structural steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy commercial construction
• Experience leading complex, multi-phase construction projects with multiple subcontractors and field teams
