Restaurant Manager – Fine Dining

Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of fine dining management experience
  • Comprehensive food and wine knowledge, including menu development and pairings
  • Proficiency with restaurant technology systems (POS, OpenTable, Microsoft Office)
  • Demonstrated ability to build, train, and retain high-performing teams
  • Strong operational management skills—inventory, labor, and cost controls
  • Proven track record of longevity and growth in previous roles

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience overseeing large, busy dining rooms or operations
  • Leadership presence with a focus on guest experience and hospitality excellence

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead service on the floor with professionalism and confidence
  • Drive shift execution and ensure operational excellence from open to close
  • Maintain and enforce high standards for systems, service, and guest experience
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve and exceed operational and financial goals
  • Inspire and motivate a dedicated team to deliver outstanding restaurant experiences
