Produce Procurement Administrator

Produce Procurement Administrator Requirements & Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift produce boxes up to 50 pounds
  • 0–2 years of relevant work experience
  • Comfortable operating a computer and standard office equipment

Produce Procurement Administrator Preferred Background & Skills

  • Bilingual in English and Korean

Produce Procurement Administrator Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Create and follow up on purchase and sales orders until successful product receipt
  • Check the quality and quantity of incoming produce
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and suppliers to address delivery issues, back-orders, and product returns
  • Manage inventory in refrigerated storage and conduct store visits for quality assurance
  • Assist with new item forms and sales templates for seasonal or special projects
  • Analyze purchasing and sales data for reporting and process improvement
  • Perform general administrative tasks within the produce department
