Director of Sales & Marketing – Atlanta, GA

Director of Sales & Marketing Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Sales Management experience (hospitality industry preferred)
- Willingness to sign non-disclosure and non-compete agreements
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs
- Strong understanding of hotel demand generators and market analysis
- Proficiency in analyzing data using spreadsheets and relevant tools
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth
Director of Sales & Marketing Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with group, volume, transient, and catering sales
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital marketing tools
- Strong networking abilities and community relations experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of coaching and motivating high-performing teams
Director of Sales & Marketing Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead sales efforts for group, transient, catering, and events, ensuring revenue targets are achieved or exceeded
- Develop and execute marketing communications plans and budgets aligned with business objectives
- Maintain up-to-date market intelligence and assess new business opportunities
- Manage and nurture client relationships, responding promptly to sales leads and community inquiries
- Oversee content creation and engagement across digital, print, and social media platforms
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and local community organizations to promote property visibility
- Monitor and report on departmental sales, expense forecasts, and yield strategies
