Maintenance Mechanic Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Technical School Certification or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination
- Experience in automation or fabrication required
- Ability to interpret basic mechanical and electrical schematics
- Experience with welding and piping assembly preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- First and second shifts available
Maintenance Mechanic Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of automated and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to diagnose issues
- Carry out fabrication, welding, and assembly of piping as needed
- Ensure machines and systems meet quality, reliability, and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and cost reductions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed repairs
