Our client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Director of Facilities to help lead the maintenance and engineering operations of a premier luxury hotel. This role is ideal for a strong people leader with HVACR expertise who enjoys mentoring teams, driving operational excellence, and maintaining the high standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.

Assistant Director of Facilities Requirements & Qualifications
- Class III NIULPE License required (City of Pittsburgh requirement)
- CFC Refrigeration License required
- Strong HVACR experience required
- Strong leadership and management experience required
- Minimum 2 years of refrigeration repair experience, including refrigerant recovery
- Experience leading engineering, maintenance, or facilities teams
- Experience working with chillers, air handlers, fan coils, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical systems
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members
Assistant Director of Facilities Preferred Background & Skills
- Luxury hotel, resort, or full-service hotel experience
- Assistant Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager, Facilities Manager, or Facilities Supervisor background
- Experience managing preventative maintenance programs
- Vendor and contractor coordination experience
- Building automation systems experience preferred
- Knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems
- Experience working in union environments preferred
- Strong guest-service mindset
- Stable career progression and strong tenure preferred
