We are seeking a hands-on Construction Foreman to lead a crew of approximately four team members in the construction, installation, and maintenance of both traditional and digital billboard structures. This is a working leadership role requiring someone who enjoys being in the field, leading by example, and taking ownership of projects from planning through completion.

The ideal candidate combines strong construction expertise with exceptional logistical planning skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to coach and develop team members. This individual will serve as the face of the company on job sites and must be comfortable interacting professionally with clients, contractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a field crew in the construction, installation, and maintenance of billboard structures.
  • Perform hands-on construction work, including structural assembly, steel erection, welding, rigging, and equipment operation.
  • Coordinate project logistics, scheduling, materials, transportation, equipment, and workforce allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and evaluate job requirements prior to project start.
  • Safely operate and oversee the use of cranes, lifts, trucks, and other construction equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot field challenges and develop practical solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Train, mentor, and develop crew members while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, property owners, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
  • Complete project documentation, inspections, and reporting as required.
  • Participate in maintenance and repair work on existing billboard structures and digital display systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, Crew Leader, Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
  • Strong background in commercial, structural steel, industrial, telecommunications, signage, billboard, utility, or related construction environments.
  • Welding experience required.
  • Experience with rigging, crane operations, steel erection, and elevated work preferred.
  • CDL license preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, site plans, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated strength in project planning, logistics coordination, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Proven ability to coach, train, and mentor team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed (50% average travel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Crane certification or crane operation experience.
  • OSHA safety certifications.
  • Experience with digital/electronic billboard installations and maintenance.
  • Electrical or low-voltage troubleshooting experience.
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL).

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Well-organized logistics and minimal job-site downtime.
  • Strong relationships with clients and property owners.
  • A trained, engaged, and productive field crew.
  • Consistent execution of quality workmanship and safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction leader who enjoys building, mentoring others, solving logistical challenges, and seeing projects come together from the ground up.
