Executive Chef

Executive Chef Benefits & Compensation

  • $95,000–$105,000 annual salary
  • Monthly profit-sharing bonuses

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous executive chef or senior kitchen leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong expo and service leadership skills
  • Proven experience with food cost, labor management, and purchasing
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Background in a structured, system-driven kitchen (corporate restaurant experience preferred)

Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise all culinary staff
  • Direct service from the expo line, ensuring quality, timing, and consistency
  • Maintain high standards for food preparation and presentation
  • Train, coach, and develop team members for ongoing success
  • Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and purchasing to achieve business goals
  • Ensure strict compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
  • Collaborate on seasonal menu updates and bi-weekly specials
  • Foster a professional, positive kitchen culture and lead by example
