Join our team as the Senior Project Manager – Industrial Equipment Manufacturing and take full ownership of end-to-end project execution for large, complex custom industrial equipment programs. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, you will manage all project phases from engineering and design through manufacturing, shipping, and invoicing, and set the strategy that drives on-time, on-spec, and on-budget delivery for critical customers.

Senior Project Manager – Industrial Equipment Manufacturing | What You Will Do

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans across all phases including engineering, design, procurement, material control, manufacturing, shipping, and invoicing
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for all assigned projects, managing status reporting, technical and commercial meetings, contract negotiations, and change order processing
  • Monitor project costs across materials, labor, and applied overhead; track project revenue vs. cost and net cash flow to maintain financial control
  • Coordinate with scheduling, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to proactively identify and resolve potential delays before they impact critical milestones
  • Assemble and submit invoice documentation; follow up to ensure timely customer payment
  • Coordinate shipping requirements, packing list creation, and delivery verification to ensure on-time, compliant shipment of completed projects
  • Lead a cross-functional project team of Engineers, Designers, Buyers, Business Support Specialists, and Manufacturing personnel, with some direct reports

Senior Project Manager – Industrial Equipment Manufacturing | What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven track record managing multiple complex, engineered-to-order projects simultaneously under time and budget constraints
  • Experience serving as the primary customer interface across technical, commercial, and contractual topics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Engineering or Technical discipline preferred
  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred; demonstrated understanding of formal project management processes required
