A nationally recognized hotel brand is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences at our property near Southern Pines. This role partners closely with the General Manager to oversee hotel performance, develop team members, and ensure operational excellence across all departments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a guest-focused environment and is passionate about team development and service standards.

Hotel Assistant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of hotel management experience, including department head, AGM, or equivalent leadership roles
  • Proven ability to lead teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest satisfaction metrics, and revenue management principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Hotel Assistant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills

  • Experience with Hilton-branded or other major hotel franchise systems
  • Track record of developing high-performing teams and improving guest satisfaction scores
  • Familiarity with budgeting, labor management, and operational reporting
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment
