Our client, a growing and highly product-driven financial services company specializing in custodial, trust, and investment solutions, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution of their platform experience across multiple products and user types.

This is a high-ownership role for a builder, not a ticket-executor. You will work directly with executive leadership and engineering to modernize a complex, high-stakes platform used by thousands of investors and financial professionals. If you thrive in lean environments, love solving messy operational problems, and want to shape what gets built and why, this role is for you.

Senior Product Designer Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Location: Nashville, Tennessee, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Senior Product Designer Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3 to 8 years of product design experience with end-to-end ownership from discovery through developer handoff
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating modern product and UI design, workflow simplification, and systems thinking
  • Expert Figma proficiency including components, prototyping, and developer handoff
  • Experience designing complex workflows, onboarding flows, dashboards, or transactional systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating independently with minimal structure or oversight

Senior Product Designer Must Haves

  • Proven ability to modernize or redesign outdated, operationally complex products, with portfolio evidence
  • Experience designing for B2B SaaS, fintech, financial services, or complex internal systems
  • Sole designer or lean team experience; you own the function, not just a slice of it
  • Strong builder mentality with a bias toward action, ownership, and shipped work
  • Active use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Figma AI to accelerate workflow and execution
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee for a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Senior Product Designer Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in fintech, trust services, investment platforms, or regulated financial environments
  • Background modernizing legacy platforms or redesigning complex operational workflows
  • Experience in startup, founder-led, or high-growth environments
  • Familiarity with React-based or component-driven frontend environments
  • Experience designing for both B2C investors and B2B institutional clients on the same platform
  • Strong understanding of form design, compliance-aware onboarding flows, and data-heavy applications

This opportunity is best suited for a designer who sees complexity as an invitation, someone who wants real ownership, fast iteration, and the chance to build something they are genuinely proud of.
