General Manager
Select-Service Hotel | Extended Stay Brand
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager to lead the overall operation of a nationally recognized extended-stay hotel. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving guest satisfaction, team engagement, financial performance, and operational excellence while maintaining brand standards and fostering a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in a service-focused environment, understands revenue management and hotel operations, and has a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
Compensation & Benefits for this General Manager
- Salary: $65-70K

Operational Leadership
- Direct all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistent brand compliance.
- Maintain high standards in guest service, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and overall property appearance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Financial Management
- Drive revenue growth through effective rate strategies, occupancy management, and market penetration initiatives.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets.
- Analyze financial reports, forecast performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Control labor and operational expenses while maximizing profitability.
Sales & Community Engagement
- Partner with sales and revenue teams to drive occupancy and market share.
- Build relationships within the local business community and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
- Support local marketing initiatives and community involvement efforts.
Qualifications for a General Manager
- Minimum 3 years of hotel General Manager experience or equivalent hotel leadership experience.
- Previous experience within a branded hotel environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel financial statements, budgeting, and revenue management.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Experience to be This Hotel General Manager
- Extended-stay hotel experience strongly preferred.
- Hilton brand experience is a plus.
- Successful track record of improving guest satisfaction scores and financial performance.
- Experience overseeing multiple hotel departments simultaneously.
