Personal Lines Producer – Odessa, FL (In-Office)
Established independent insurance agency serving the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Producer to join a growing, relationship-focused team.
This is not a call center environment. We are looking for a producer who understands how to build and develop a book of business through referrals, community presence, and consultative selling.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and close new personal lines business (homeowners, auto, flood, umbrella)
- Develop referral relationships with mortgage brokers, real estate agents, and local professionals
- Work a mix of inbound marketing opportunities and self-generated leads
- Cross-sell and round out household accounts
- Educate clients on coverage options and Florida-specific exposures
What We’re Looking For
- Active Florida 2-20 license preferred
- 3+ years personal lines production experience
- Independent agency background strongly preferred
- Multi-carrier quoting experience
- Proven ability to generate and close new business
- Knowledge of Florida homeowners and coastal market considerations
- Relationship-driven, self-starter mindset
Compensation & Growth
- $55,000 – $80,000 base salary (depending on experience)
- Commission on new business
- Renewal commission participation
- Realistic Year 1 earning potential: $85K–$100K+
- Long-term book growth opportunity
