Seeking an experienced Director of Billing to lead and optimize billing operations across Parts, Finished Goods, and Service Billing. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, driving process improvements, managing a billing team, and partnering cross-functionally to support business growth and operational excellence.
This leader will play a critical role in enhancing billing processes, improving customer experience, and ensuring compliance with company policies and billing standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily billing operations and team management
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Develop and improve billing policies and procedures
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Accounting
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Manage ERP and billing system utilization
- Support month-end activities and reporting
Qualifications
- 10+ years of billing, finance, or accounting experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Manufacturing billing experience strongly preferred
- Strong ERP and automated billing system experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of sales tax and billing compliance preferred
