Metal Extrusion Technician / Press Operator
Jackson, WI | First Shift | Growing Manufacturer
Are you an experienced Metal or Plastic Extrusion Technician looking for a stable company where your skills are valued and your career can grow?
We are a privately owned manufacturing company with approximately 20 employees specializing in aluminum extrusion, metal stamping, and custom fabrication. Due to significant growth in production, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented Metal Extrusion Technician / Press Operator to help support our continued success.

Schedule
- First Shift: Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime available and frequently offered
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on extrusion industry experience
- Typical range: over 30 an hour
- Additional compensation may be considered for exceptional candidates
What You'll Do
- Operate and troubleshoot aluminum extrusion press equipment
- Monitor production quality and process efficiency
- Perform machine setup and adjustments
- Assist with process improvements and production optimization
- Work closely with production leadership to meet customer requirements
- Support training and mentoring of team members when needed
- Help maintain a safe and productive work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Metal or Plastic Extrusion experience is REQUIRED
- Aluminum extrusion experience strongly preferred
- Basic machine programming experience is a plus
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with operators and management
- Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
- Stable work history and strong attendance record
