Join our team as the CNC Milling Operator and take full ownership of production milling operations on a variety of established jobs. Reporting to shop supervision and working alongside setup machinists and quality personnel, you will operate multi-axis CNC milling equipment, maintain part quality, and ensure accurate production output in a precision manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for a mid-level CNC machinist who has hands-on experience with precision milling and multi-axis equipment, and who wants to build on their technical skills in a structured production environment, as well as long-term stability and growth with a company that values quality and process discipline.

CNC Milling Operator II | What You Get

  • Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing precision manufacturing company
  • Exposure to complex CNC milling work across 3-axis, 4-axis, horizontal, and 5-axis equipment
  • Opportunity to continue growing toward setup-level responsibilities
  • Strong shop-floor environment where accuracy, consistency, and quality matter
  • Ability to mentor and support less experienced CNC operators
  • Competitive benefits package
  • A company that values skilled machinists who take pride in doing the job right

CNC Milling Operator II | What You Will Do

  • Operate 3-axis, 4-axis, 4-axis horizontal, and 5-axis CNC milling machines on established jobs with limited supervision
  • Perform intermediate part inspection using calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, and other precision measurement tools
  • Make basic wear offset adjustments and perform routine tooling changes per documented procedures
  • Follow work instructions, inspection plans, and traveler requirements on every job
  • Identify and escalate tool issues, machine alarms, process variation, and part defects before nonconforming parts are produced
  • Record job data, part counts, lot control, labor time, and required production documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting production efficiency and quality standards

CNC Milling Operator II | What You Bring

  • 1 to 3 years of precision CNC milling experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate blueprint reading ability with basic GD&T interpretation
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection methods
  • Ability to recognize tool wear, poor surface finish, chatter, burrs, and dimensional drift
  • Strong communication skills with setup machinists, leads, quality personnel, and supervision
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, inspection plans, and production requirements with accuracy and consistency
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored authorization

This is a strong fit for a CNC Milling Operator who takes pride in precision work, wants exposure to complex machining, and is looking for a stable long-term opportunity with room to continue growing technically.
