General Manager in Training – Short-Term Rental Management Company

General Manager in Training Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous short-term rental property management experience is required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends as required.
- Demonstrated desire to develop leadership abilities and advance within the company.
General Manager in Training Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience managing or coordinating short-term or vacation rental properties and staff.
- Familiarity with property management, reservation, or booking software.
- Comfort with analyzing performance metrics and recommending improvements.
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
General Manager in Training Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations across a large portfolio of short-term rental properties.
- Support guest service efforts, managing reservations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Coordinate housekeeping, property inspections, and maintenance requests.
- Communicate with property owners and support relationship management.
- Monitor property performance, occupancy rates, and revenue data.
- Participate in recruiting, training, and developing team members.
- Lead special projects and take on increased responsibilities during training.
- Serve as Manager on Duty as needed, providing leadership support to all departments.
