We are looking for an Executive Sushi Chef for our partner in Jackson, WY! This is an incredible opportunity to work at an ultra-luxury property, creating sushi with high-end ingredients. Candidates must bring an extensive background in sushi and a strong desire to live the Jackson, WY lifestyle!

Executive Sushi Chef Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as an Executive Sushi Chef or 5+ years as Executive Sous Sushi Chef
  • Deep knowledge and experience with traditional Japanese cuisine
  • High level of precision, discipline, and creativity
  • Excellent table-side manner in interacting with counter guests
  • Proven history of managing culinary financials- COGs and Labor
  • Genuine Excitement about living the Jackson, WY lifestyle

Executive Sushi Chef Preferred Qualifications:

  • Traditional sushi apprenticeship
  • Knowledge of multi-cultural Asian cusines
  • Experience with menu design
  • Experience in destination locations such as ski area

Executive Sushi Chef Responsibilities:

  • Manage the culinary team with integrity, transparency, and consistency
  • Ensure consistent and precise production of all menu items
  • Create unique specials appropriate to the venue
  • Cost out menu items, negotiate with vendors, and actively manage COGs
  • Collaborate with Front of House leadership
  • Work the Sushi Counter during service and interact with guests
  • Other duties as assigned
