An established residential remodeling and construction company is hiring a Director of Operations to lead production, project management, field operations, warehouse oversight, and service functions across a growing organization. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact operational performance, customer satisfaction, team development, and long term company growth within a team oriented environment.
Construction Director of Operations – What You Will Do
- Lead and oversee project managers, production staff, warehouse operations, and service functions
- Drive operational consistency through systems, scheduling, KPI management, and process improvement
- Coach and develop project managers and production leadership teams
- Manage subcontractor relationships, project scheduling, and production workflows
- Partner with company leadership on budgeting, strategic planning, and operational growth initiatives
- Ensure customer satisfaction through oversight of project execution and issue resolution
- Oversee inventory, warehouse organization, and production resource utilization
- Conduct production meetings, trainings, and operational performance reviews
Construction Director of Operations – What You Bring
- 8+ years of construction industry experience with leadership responsibility
- Strong project operations and production management background
- Experience coaching and leading teams in fast paced environments
- Ability to improve systems, processes, scheduling, and operational efficiency
- Strong communication, accountability, and problem solving skills
- Comfortable handling customer concerns and leading through operational challenges
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and production performance
- Proficiency with computers and operational software systems
