A respected Northwestern Philadelphia law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate (Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner Level) to join its established litigation practice in Lansdale, PA. Commercial Litigation Attorney (Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner Level) Requirements & Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Active Pennsylvania Bar admission in good standing
  • 5+ years of litigation experience preferred; more experienced attorneys and portable books of business will be considered.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions – solid litigator
  • Strong motion practice and legal writing skills
  • Experience managing litigation matters from discovery through resolution
  • Excellent analytical, research, communication, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Commercial Litigation Attorney (Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner Level) Preferred Background & Skills

  • Commercial litigation
  • Business litigation
  • Construction litigation
  • Real estate litigation
  • Contract disputes
  • Complex civil litigation
  • Trial experience (first- or second-chair) preferred
  • Experience handling direct client relationships
  • Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, electronic filing systems, and litigation management software
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and client-service orientation
  • Existing client relationships or book of business welcomed but not required.

Commercial Litigation Attorney (Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner Level) Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses
  • Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
  • Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
  • Maintain direct communication with clients and provide practical legal guidance
  • Negotiate settlements and assist in alternative dispute resolution efforts
  • Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial strategy
