Partner | Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney Requirements & Qualifications

• Significant experience handling bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights matters.
• Portable book of business, ideally $500K+ in annual revenue.
• Demonstrated skill representing creditors, lenders, investors, financial institutions, trustees, and distressed companies.
• Established track record in sophisticated restructurings, workouts, and insolvency proceedings.
• Licensed and in good standing with the state bar.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building a long-term practice.

Partner | Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney Preferred Background & Skills

• Background with AmLaw firms, bankruptcy boutiques, or mid-sized business law firms.
• Strong lender-side, creditor-side, or private credit client relationships.
• Experience in commercial litigation, receiverships, and out-of-court workouts.
• Proven ability to generate new business and expand client relationships.

Partner | Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a leading-edge Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice, with support from firm leadership.
• Represent a wide range of clients in Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, workouts, and insolvency matters.
• Negotiate loan workouts, forbearance agreements, restructurings, and settlements.
• Advise stakeholders on distressed transactions, risk management, and commercial disputes.
• Lead or supervise bankruptcy litigation, adversary proceedings, and related matters.
• Foster strong client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
