We are seeking an exceptional, driven, and deeply skilled Chef de Cuisine to join the culinary leadership team at a Michelin-starred restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide. This is a rare opportunity to serve as the primary day-to-day leader of the kitchen, working directly alongside Chef-Owner leadership to shape both the creative and operational direction of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is a humble yet highly technical culinary leader who thrives in a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.

Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-end kitchens, with significant Michelin-starred experience required
- Prior experience as Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef with full kitchen leadership responsibility
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and inspire large kitchen teams toward consistent excellence
- Strong organizational skills across inventory, scheduling, food cost, and multi-station operations
- Technical mastery of whole animal butchery, heritage proteins, and refined cooking techniques
- Experience contributing to menu development, seasonal transitions, and R&D processes
- Strong communication skills across kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Professional certifications (Food Handler’s Manager Certification is a plus)
- Long-term commitment and desire to grow with the restaurant
Chef de Cuisine Preferred Background & Skills
- Michelin-starred or Michelin-level kitchen leadership experience
- Strong creative instincts and curiosity in menu development and technique exploration
- Experience managing meat programs, cellar systems, or complex inventory operations
- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistency and high standards in a tasting menu environment
- Strong mentorship skills with a focus on team development and culture building
- Experience collaborating closely with chef leadership teams
- Proven ability to run smooth, high-standard dinner services and ensure flawless execution
- Strong vendor and producer relationship management experience
- Commitment to upholding and embodying the culture and standards of a Michelin-caliber kitchen
