Associate Attorney – Insurance Coverage

Join a respected law firm as a highly motivated attorney specializing in insurance coverage. This role offers the opportunity to represent both international and domestic insurers on a variety of liability policies, including directors and officers, employment practices, professional liability, commercial general liability, and commercial auto liability. Attorney Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3–7 years of experience in insurance coverage.
Admitted to practice in your state; additional bar admissions are a plus.
Strong background in complex insurance coverage matters; litigation experience is a plus.

Excellent academic credentials.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions and position letters.
Conduct rigorous legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage.
Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Attend arbitrations, hearings, and mediations as needed.
Proactively manage matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.
