A well-established civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Transportation Design Engineer to support and lead a variety of transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on design work, collaborating with a close-knit team, and stepping into projects with minimal ramp-up time.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading transportation design tasks and supporting junior engineering staff
Producing preliminary and final engineering deliverables
Working on roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction, intersections, traffic signals, roundabouts, drainage, and multi-use paths
Applying INDOT, LPA, and AASHTO standards across active projects
Collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality results

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana or ability to obtain within 6 months
4–8 years of transportation engineering experience
Strong working knowledge of INDOT standards and procedures
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Ability to step into projects quickly with minimal training

Nice to Have

Traffic signal or roundabout design experience
Drainage design or utility coordination experience
Curb ramp, sidewalk, or multi-use path design experience
