Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training is a plus
  • Must become a licensed boiler operator
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic mathematical skills, including calculating percentages, areas, and volumes
  • Ability to use basic computer and manufacturing software
  • Able to stand and/or walk throughout the shift, use hands to handle equipment, and communicate clearly
  • Occasionally able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Capable of close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus
  • Willingness to work in environments with wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and temperature extremes
  • Comfortable working in areas with a loud noise level

Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor boiler machinery and related systems safely and efficiently
  • Read, interpret, and follow safety and maintenance procedures
  • Perform routine inspections and report any issues or irregularities
  • Complete daily logs, reports, and basic correspondence as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
