Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Engineer / Supervisor to oversee third-party warehouse and inventory operations supporting a fast-paced industrial supply chain environment. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, safe material handling, efficient inbound/outbound logistics, and continuous operational improvement across multiple warehouse locations.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing warehouse operations, coordinating transportation and inventory activities, and driving process optimization initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, inventory control, storage, and outbound shipping activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and real-time system updates.
  • Manage material handling processes while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments to ensure customer specifications and quality requirements are met.
  • Monitor asset utilization and support maintenance coordination for warehouse equipment and storage assets.
  • Optimize warehouse workflows, material movement, and transportation efficiency to improve overall operational performance.
  • Support return logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation and routing.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with multiple manufacturing sites and distribution partners to support shipping schedules, urgent orders, and special material requests.
  • Assist with KPI tracking, reporting, and operational data analysis.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics efficiency, inventory management, and process standardization.
  • Work closely with supply chain, operations, and external vendors to resolve logistics and inventory-related issues. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse best practices.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or regulated environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across different operational sites.

  • Process improvement and operational optimization mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers or remote warehouse operations.
  • Ability to lead projects and drive operational improvements independently.
