Restaurant Assistant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management or operations experience
• Casual dining experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to perform in a high-volume environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Restaurant Assistant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Bar management/background preferred
• Scratch kitchen experience is a plus

Restaurant Assistant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including FOH, BOH, and bar
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach to motivate and support the team
• Coach, train, and develop team members to deliver outstanding guest service
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and operational consistency
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor control
• Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and guest hospitality
