A mission-driven college preparatory high school is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered Academic & Learning Support (ALS) Case Manager to support students with diverse academic and learning needs.

This highly collaborative role works directly with students, families, faculty, counselors, and outside professionals to provide individualized academic support, accommodation coordination, executive functioning coaching, and intervention planning.

The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping students build confidence, independence, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50–75 students
  • Conduct regular student check-ins and progress meetings
  • Support executive functioning, organization, time management, and self-advocacy
  • Coordinate accommodations and testing support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, counselors, and outside providers
  • Monitor academic progress and intervene early when concerns arise
  • Organize and proctor extended-time and make-up testing
  • Support students through academic transitions and intervention planning
  • Participate in student support meetings and schoolwide initiatives
  • Contribute to innovative student support programming and academic success initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Credential or certification in education, learning support, or school psychology preferred
  • 3+ years supporting high school students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong understanding of executive functioning and accommodations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
  • Experience with PowerSchool, Schoology, Google Workspace, or similar platforms preferred
  • Ability to manage sensitive student situations with professionalism and empathy
