5–10+ Years Experience | Western Massachusetts (Relocation Assistance Available)

A growing civil and environmental engineering firm in rural Western Massachusetts is seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or near-term EIT to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of site development, septic, and public infrastructure projects. This is a high-impact role with strong autonomy, client exposure, and a clear path to long-term leadership and potential ownership.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Title 5 septic system design and permitting, along with civil site design, grading, drainage, and utilities. You’ll oversee projects ranging from small community systems to large, complex developments, while mentoring junior staff and helping shape the future of a close-knit, expanding firm.

Requirements:

  • PE strongly preferred (EIT close to licensure considered)
  • 5–10+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Strong background with Title 5 systems and Massachusetts regulations
  • Experience with site design, permitting, and construction support
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead technical production
