Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment efficiently and accurately
  • Perform repairs involving diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and driveline components
  • Partner closely with the Service Manager to identify repair priorities and communicate equipment issues clearly
  • Complete preventative maintenance services and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and work orders
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards
  • Support overall shop operations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Heavy Truck Certifications required
  • Strong hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy-duty truck systems
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues effectively
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment
