Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced precast concrete production environment. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading production teams to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day plant operations, including production, scheduling, and workflow management
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and plant staff
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
• Implement and monitor process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, and logistics teams to align production with customer needs
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company standards
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventative maintenance efforts
• Manage labor planning, staffing levels, and production costs
• Track KPIs and prepare operational reports for leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in precast concrete manufacturing or a closely related field
• Proven experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of precast processes, materials, and production workflows
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
