About the Opportunity:

Well established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Birmingham office. This position focuses on medical negligence litigation and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support medical negligence litigation matters
  • Draft and argue:
    • Motions
    • Pleadings
    • Legal memoranda
  • Conduct depositions and manage discovery
  • Work closely with clients, experts, and senior attorneys
  • Assist in trial preparation and case strategy

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Top 25% academic credentials required
  • 4–6 years of litigation experience
  • Experience handling medical negligence / medical malpractice cases
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage cases with increasing independence
  • Alabama license in good standing
