- Strong support infrastructure so you can focus on practicing law, not administrative burdens
- Collaborative, values-driven culture centered on communication, compassion, and accountability
What You’ll Do
- Manage family law cases from intake through resolution, including mediation and trial
- Handle divorce, custody, and high-conflict family law matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, temporary orders, and discovery
- Prepare and argue hearings, including temporary orders
- Develop child support worksheets and financial documentation
- Represent clients in court and provide strategic legal guidance
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Washington State bar license (or ability to practice in Washington)
- 3-5+ years of family law experience handling cases from start to finish, with a strong understanding of custody disputes, divorce proceedings, and heavily contested family law cases
- Experience with hearings, mediation, discovery, and trial preparation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage high-conflict situations
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to client service
- Comfortable managing a billing expectation of ~30 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $125K–$180K + bonus potential
- 401(k) with employer match
- Full health, dental, and vision insurance
- Five weeks paid time off
- Paid vacation every other year
- Ongoing professional development and career advancement
Work Environment
- Remote-first structure with flexibility
- Court appearances and occasional in-person client meetings required in the greater Seattle area
- Supportive, team-oriented culture that values ownership and results over oversight
If you’re looking to grow your career in a firm that values independence, client care, and long-term success, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step.
