A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to support high net worth probate matters within its Estate Planning and Probate practice group. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is looking to take a strategic, leadership-oriented approach to their work while collaborating closely with partners and clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support high net worth probate and estate administration matters
- Prepare trust and estate accountings, as well as estate and fiduciary tax returns
- Draft legal documents, conduct research, and develop strategic case approaches
- Work closely with partners to deliver effective and personalized client solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professionalism
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient matter execution
Qualifications
- Active membership in the Washington State Bar (required)
- LLM, CPA, or Masters of Tax (required)
- Experience administering taxable estates, including accountings and tax return preparation
- Strong drafting, writing, and legal research skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication abilities
- Ability to take initiative and operate in a leadership capacity on matters
