An upscale restaurant in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Catering & Events Coordinator to lead and expand its growing catering and events program. This role is ideal for someone who can take full ownership, build systems from the ground up, and have strong familiarity with tools such as Toast POS and Perfect Venue. Catering & Events Coordinator Benefits & Compensation

Catering & Events Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality, catering, or event management
  • Proven success working with high-net-worth clients or VIP event execution
  • Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week and be present during event set-up and execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
  • Ability to build and implement new catering systems and workflows

Catering & Events Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills

  • Familiarity with Toast POS and Perfect Venue backend
  • Passion for serving the local community, including experience with non-profit or benefit events
  • Sales-minded with a focus on revenue growth and guest experience
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to personalized hospitality

Catering & Events Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop, launch, and refine the catering program, including templates, systems, and add-on offerings
  • Build relationships with VIP clientele and local community members to drive event and catering sales
  • Network proactively, conduct tours, and follow up on all inquiries to convert leads into bookings
  • Guide clients through event planning, logistics, and coordination, providing hands-on support throughout each event
  • Oversee the execution of private, commissioned, and in-house events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue growth
