Travel Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in luxury travel, concierge services, hospitality, or a related field
- Proven success managing complex, high-touch travel logistics for discerning clients
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Superior communication abilities with a polished, professional presence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with composure
- Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach
Travel Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Familiarity with travel systems, CRM tools, or booking platforms
- Passion for travel, hospitality, and providing luxury service
Travel Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end planning for commercial flights, private aviation, and luxury hotels
- Curate multi-day itineraries including dining, tours, ground transportation, and concierge services
- Anticipate and proactively coordinate client travel needs, delivering a seamless, personalized experience
- Cultivate relationships with luxury travel partners, hotels, and vendors
- Conduct detailed research and present curated recommendations to clients
- Manage travel-related administration—including documentation, expenses, and database updates
- Ensure flawless execution of VIP amenities and client details
- Attend industry events to expand your network within the luxury travel and hospitality space
