We are seeking an excited, thoughtful, and passionate Beverage Director to join our team. Beverage Director Benefits and Compensation

Beverage Director Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership experience in a high-level, fine dining restaurant environment
  • Exceptional knowledge of wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverage programs
  • Proven ability to build systems, not just execute service
  • Experience managing beverage cost, inventory, and program profitability
  • Excellent communication skills and strong professional judgment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Experience training and developing front-of-house teams
  • Familiarity with POS systems and reservation platforms such as Tock and Resy
  • Understanding of NYC and NY State compliance and regulations (Food Protection Certification required)
  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Beverage Director Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience leading a beverage program in a Michelin-rated or tasting menu environment
  • Strong ability to curate and evolve dynamic, seasonal beverage offerings
  • Passion for hospitality-driven guest experiences and storytelling through beverage
  • Experience collaborating closely with culinary teams on pairings
  • Track record of maintaining high standards, consistency, and service excellence
  • Strong organizational and operational skills across inventory and systems
  • Experience leading tastings, education programs, and team development initiatives
  • Ability to contribute to broader programming, events, and collaborations
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning
