We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner & Inventory Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing production schedules, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to keep operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do

Production Planning

  • Support and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, and available capacity
  • Coordinate daily and weekly build plans with production teams
  • Monitor production progress and communicate delays, material shortages, or capacity concerns
  • Adjust schedules as priorities or material availability change

Inventory & Material Control

  • Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods
  • Review material availability to support production plans
  • Create purchase requests and material requisitions based on demand, inventory levels, and lead times
  • Participate in cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Identify shortages, excess inventory, and material risks

ERP & Work Order Management

  • Create, release, and close production work orders in the ERP system
  • Verify labor, material usage, and component transactions are accurate
  • Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate inventory variances and transactional errors
  • Support BOM accuracy by identifying and reporting discrepancies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with purchasing to ensure materials are available on time
  • Work with production and quality teams to resolve shortages, holds, or material issues
  • Provide planning and inventory reports to leadership
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across planning, inventory, and system processes

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, materials coordination, or related manufacturing roles
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems
  • Understanding of BOMs, work orders, and inventory transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work across departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP coursework or certification
  • Experience in regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environments
