The hands-on, engaging General Manager serves as the face of this fun, fast-paced, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant. This leader is responsible for overall restaurant performance, including team development, guest satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability. The General Manager drives daily operations, ensures financial and operational goals are met, and represents the brand both inside the restaurant and within the local community.
General Manager Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain team members by fostering a people-first culture
- Lead daily operations with hands-on supervision and team leadership
- Execute training programs to maintain high performance standards
- Drive sales growth through operational excellence and community engagement
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences as the “Mayor” of the restaurant
- Ensure quality operations through accountability and adherence to standards
- Utilize strong business acumen to achieve financial and operational success
General Manager Qualifications
- 2+ years of General Manager experience
- Servant-leadership style with a passion for developing people
- Casual or fast-casual dining experience preferred
- Proven, stable track record (ideally no more than two roles in five years)
- Strong business acumen, including P&L management, scheduling, and inventory
- Thrives in a hands-on, high-energy, neighborhood restaurant environment
