Director of Marketing Theme Park and Attractions

This position leads the overall marketing vision for a high-profile educational and entertainment destination in a Theme park setting, guiding its evolution into a fully immersive and guest-centered experience. The Director of Marketing will drive B2C strategies, brand advancement, digital expansion, and audience engagement while collaborating with senior leadership to strengthen revenue, attendance, and long-range organizational objectives.

Director of Marketing Theme Park and Attractions Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related area (Master’s preferred)
  • 8–10+ years of advanced marketing leadership within theme parks, tourism, attractions, or entertainment sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategies that boost tickets sales, revenue, and visitor volume
  • Strong command of digital marketing, content development, social media, and public relations
  • Experience overseeing sizeable budgets with focus on ROI and measurable results
  • Proven track record in building, coaching, and managing diverse, high-performing teams

Director of Marketing Theme Park and Attractions Responsibilities

  • Guide the overarching marketing direction to strengthen the destination’s identity and guest appeal
  • Partner with senior leadership to support financial goals, attendance growth, and long-term strategic plans
  • Execute cross-channel campaigns spanning advertising, media, partnerships, digital platforms, and communications
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including search optimization, email strategy, paid media, and website performance
  • Work closely with programming and events teams to deliver initiatives that enhance engagement and drive traffic
  • Oversee data analysis, performance indicators, budget oversight, and stakeholder alignment to ensure continued organizational success
