Culinary Director (Multi-Unit Restaurant Group)

This growing, multi-unit restaurant group is seeking a Culinary Director who has successfully helped scale restaurant concepts to 5 to 10+ units and can build the systems, teams, and infrastructure to support that desired growth.

Culinary Director Benefits

Culinary Director Qualifications

Proven experience leading culinary operations across multiple restaurant units (ideally 5+), with direct involvement in scaling to 10+ locations
Strong background in building systems for food cost control, kitchen operations, and training programs
Demonstrated success in opening new restaurant locations and developing back-of-house infrastructure
Leadership style that emphasizes team development, accountability, and retention of key culinary talent
Financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L performance, COGS, and operational efficiencies at scale

Culinary Director Responsibilities

Oversee all culinary operations across existing and future locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and execution
Build and implement scalable systems for training, purchasing, food cost control, and kitchen standards
Lead all new store openings, including menu execution, kitchen setup, and team onboarding
Partner with ownership and operations leadership to drive profitability, menu strategy, and concept evolution
Recruit, mentor, and develop kitchen leadership teams, creating a strong pipeline for internal growth and promotio
