Assistant General Manager

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

1-3 years of Assistant general manager experience in a quick service restaurant or high-volume (over $2M revenue) burger or chicken brand
Stable work history with extended tenure at recent employers
Strong track record in leadership, recruiting, and team development
Proven ability to manage P&L and drive profitability
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Experience with burger or chicken brands such as Wendys, McDonalds, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Taco Bell, White Castle, or Shake Shack

Assistant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cleanliness
Consistently execute company standards, systems, and procedures
Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment
Manage financial performance, including sales, labor, and food costs, to achieve targets
Ensure outstanding guest service and promptly resolve customer concerns
Drive sales growth, local marketing initiatives, and operational excellence
Monitor key performance indicators: sales, labor, food costs, and customer satisfaction
